Nice Dream Properties, owners of Havilah Gardens, has taken delivery of solar precast housing units as a prelude to its planned execution of 1000 housing units.
The Managing Director of the firm, Richard Uwagie, stated this during an inspection tour of Havilah Gardens, a middle class estate, located besides Deeper Life Church along.
Uwagie, who decried the ever increasing figure of housing deficits in the country, said if not checked it, may spell doom for the economic development of the country.
He said the idea of the solar housing units, which will reduce the cost of houses, is to create more opportunities for a greater majority to have access to decent accommodation.
The Executive Director of the firm, Mr Tony Femi Inwang, said Havilah Gardens, was strategically positioned to take care of the increasing housing needs of the public, especially in Lagos.
He assured that the estate, when completed, will be an exclusive abode with luxury finishings, paved road network, comprehensive laid drainage system , street lightings secured with installation of state of the art recreational facilities, children¡¯s park, club house and water reticulation.
On the competence of his firm to deliver on their promises, Inwang stated that they have qualified professionals to deliver the projects at the stipulated seven months period.
He assured that their foreign technical partners are on hand to ensure that subscribers to the estate will enjoy living in the estate with uninterrupted solar electricity supply, through the use of solar powered technology that is not only environmentally friendly but safe as it is devoid of carbon fumes that is a common factor in the use of generating sets by people to augment the epileptic power supply.
According to him, the housing types in the estate are in two categories of three-bedroom luxury detached bungalows, three-bedroom luxury flats and four-bedroom luxury detached duplexes.
